私は高校生の時に、ミュージカルを したことがあります。毎がっき、私の高校は ミュージカルプロダクションが ありました。ミュージカルプロダクションは シカゴ や マンマミーアが ありました。そのふたつプロダクションに、私は アンサンブルでした。ミュージカル シカゴは はじめて のミュージカルでした。私は サポート ロールがオーディションを しますけど、ロールが もられなかった。ざんねんだったが、コールバックがあってよかった。ミュージカルのために たくさん うたうをうった や ダンスを したけど、とてもたのしかったです。どっちもたのしかったが、マンマミーアよりシカゴの方が好きだった。これらしゃしんをたのしみください！

Anime: Oushitsu Kyoushi Heine (The Royal Tutor)

This is one of my favorite anime! I had watched it when it first came out back in high school. I watched the whole season and the movie. Not too many people know about this anime but it's highly recommended by me! It's only 12 episodes and has equal comedy and drama for it to be a historical fiction anime. I decided to rewatch it this weekend because I was feeling nostalgic. It's basically about this man named Heine who is short and looks like a child, but is actually a grown man who's good at everything. He was sent by the king to teach his 4 sons equally and prepare them for the throne. Each son has a complex personality and some triggering past experience that Heine is able to understand and help them work through things that none of their other tutors did for them. They like Heine, but don't truly know anything about him or his past because the king kept it hidden. (Spoiler Alert!) Turns out, the king and Heine knew each other from when they were younger. Heine was homeless and cared for other homeless kids and the king became friends with him and the other kids when he would sneak out of the palace. An incident happened where the king got shot and Heine was wrongfully persecuted, and Heine ended up turning his life around after the king rescued him from prison.(Spoiler Done.) When Heine's history is found out by the princes, he leaves, but the princes fight for him to come back when they plead his case to the council. It's so much that happens in just 12 episodes! As for the connection to my Japanese learning, it was good to see a teacher to student representation in anime because it reminds me of the dialogue and speech from sensei in class. There were a lot of words and phrases that I recognized since Heine uses polite speech and phrases that I hear from sensei in Japanese class. Words that came up a lot: べんきょう, 来る, じゅぎょう, 二人, みなさん, はじめましょう、etc. 

イースターの休み

 イースターの休みは よかったです！私は 金曜日に シカゴで 水ぞくかんに 行った、そして ちゅうかレストランに 行った、ラムホットポットを 食べた、あとで たいやき と ロールアイスを 食べた、ボバ おちゃを のんだ。土曜日に チコリカフェで 行った、ポーボーイ と スープを食べた。ブルーベリー ラテも 飲むから、おいしかったです！友だちと 本やに 行くので、本を買いました。友だちと そとで 読んだ。日曜日に 友だちと そとのみずみのちかくを さんぽした。女の子が 私 と 私の友だちの すばらしい しゃしんを とった。月曜日に学食で食べに 行った、りょうに 帰った、しゅうくだいをした。

This weekend, my friends and I binge-watched Buddy Daddies. This was a great watch! It was comedic, action packed, dramatic, sad, and adorable all at the same time! The story revolves around two assassins, Kazuki and Rei, and their adopted daughter Miri. On the night they were assigned to some man, Miri was there and the man they killed was her biological father, but he didn't want her because she was born from his mistress. Kazuki and Rei ended up taking her in and tried to return her to her mother, but she didn't want her either since she felt Miri ruined her singing career. They ended up raising Miri and came to love her as their own as they faced many hardships along the way. By the end, they quit being assassins and opened a diner in order for Miri to grow up normally. Look how cute they are!

I really loved the dynamic between all of them. Kazuki, the blond one, was a womanizer and as an assassin, he didn't do the action stuff and more of the information and infiltration stuff. But with Miri, he was always doing the cooking and cleaning, and was super emotional and protective of her. Rei, the black haired one, was a homebody who was obsessed with video games, but was a very skilled assassin who did most of the killing. But with Miri, he was a quiet supporter and was often childish with her when Kazuki was around. Miri was just a ball of sunshine! Constantly laughing and making trouble for Kazuki and Rei, but was a very caring and understanding child. I feel this picture represents their personalities to a T😂!

This show had a lot of components from Chapter 10 because it was family based. So 家族, 両親, 子供, etc. showed up a lot. Miri referred to Kazuki and Rei as Papa and her mom as Mama instead of 父 and 母. But the dialogue between Kazuki and Miri was easy to follow because he was slower and broke down words to teach her, so it felt like I was learning along with her.
